Well folks I made it to the halfway point of these holiday times. I managed to make it through the Christmas eve Buffet and Christmas day breakfast and dinner and yesterday was Second Christmas. (We're like the hobbits, often we have first breakfast and second breakfast and elevensies and first and second Christmas.)
I got an awesome fruits and veggies cookbook/learn how to prep book and new cutting boards for x-mas among other much needed gifts. (Like new sheets, sweaters, and a newspaper subscription.)
Somehow, the past two weeks I managed to transpose my Christmas music fix for a country music fix. I can't stop listening to country music. It's all I want to listen to. Maybe I just need to investigate a line dancing bar. Or buy a pair of cowboy boots and a cowboy hat. Or both?
I am happy because I managed to go to WW the day after Christmas. Look at me go. I went to a meeting in the town next to where my parents live. I kind of felt like I was on vacation. The leader was different and so was the crowd. I even managed to bring my mom along with me. YAY! I hope she likes the program as much as I do.
